Breathwork Classes

Your breath is the most natural tool you have to shift how you feel — yet most of us only use a fraction of its potential.

Breathwork is a simple but powerful practice where you use guided breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, release built-up stress, and reconnect with your body.

No experience is needed. You just show up, breathe, and let your body do what it’s designed to do. People often describe the practice as deeply calming, surprisingly energising, and sometimes profoundly moving.

You should try Breathwork if...

  • …you feel like you’re constantly on and never truly off

  • your mind doesn’t stop, even when your body is still

  • …you’re chasing performance but forgetting presence

  • …you’ve tried everything else—but haven’t yet turned inward

Breathwork isn’t just about calm. It’s about connection.

To your body. Your truth. Your nervous system.

Your self beyond the stress.

Research shows conscious breathing can reduce cortisol levels and shift your body from a sympathetic ‘fight-or-flight’ state into parasympathetic ‘rest and digest’ mode.

One study even found that slow, deep breathing for just a few minutes a day improved emotional regulation and heart rate variability (HRV)—key markers for resilience and recovery.

This practice changed how I show up for myself—on the mat, in sport, in life.

And if any of this resonates… maybe it’s time to try it too.

Contraindications

Breathwork has contraindications because of its strong activation of the nervous system and gland (endocrine system) and intense physical and emotional experience.

With some health conditions, we need to be attentive when practicing breathwork. However, with other health conditions, it is better not to get into the practice before your conditions have improved.

To be on the safe side, always let your facilitator know of your health conditions and the medication you are taking so he can be more mindful of your physiological and mental state and give you better support during your journey!

Relaxed Participant Testimonials

I have gained valuable experience working with individuals across a wide age range, from young adults to seniors, in locations such as Dubai, Australia and presently Dublin. This exposure has equipped me with the adaptablity to tailor programming solutions to suit different phases of life.

My Personal Journey with Breathwork

My breathwork journey began in Australia, where I attended classes on the beath at sunrise. At the gym where I worked in Sydney, I coached people through icebaths using breathing techniques and quickly realised their power for health and wellbeing.

After completing my yoga teacher training, I learned more about breathing techniques and decided to book a one-on-one somatic breathwork class which changed everything for me. Experiencing those benefits led me to undertake facilitator training with Rewild Breathwork.

My aim is to continue to encourage everyone to try this at least once — but believe me, you’ll want to do it again.

“The breath is the bridge between the body and the mind.”
